It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

* The best day on which the sun rises is Friday

* Adam (peace be upon him) was born on the same day

• And on that day they were admitted to Paradise

• And on the same day they were expelled from Paradise.


* Explanation *

All the things mentioned in this hadith are among the virtues of Jumu'ah:

* Adam's departure from Paradise led to the emergence of his descendants, a great race.

• And that is why the prophets, the righteous and the saints came into being.

• Adam (pbuh) was not expelled from heaven but was sent into the world to fulfill certain purposes.

• Then they will return to heaven.

Allah says in Quran: Yes, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. (Quran 75:3-4) In this Ayah, the emphasis on fingerprints has a very special meaning. This is because everyone's fingerprint is unique to himself. Every person who is alive or who has ever lived in this world has a set of unique fingerprints. But the importance of fingerprints was only discovered in the late 19th century. Before then, people regarded fingerprints as ordinary curves without any specific importance or meaning.
